“If we surrendered to earth’s intelligence, we could rise up rooted, like trees.”

CREATIVE WAYS TO FIND YOUR TRUTH

Vision

The poet Rainer Maria Rilke wisely states, “If we surrendered to earth’s intelligence, we could rise up rooted, like trees.” I believe our ability to learn how to trust ourselves, to grieve, and to create allows us to become who we truly are. So how do you surrender? I have found that using tools such as art, ritual, somatic experiences, and other embodied practices gives you permission to surrender. It allows you to access your deeper knowing, your truer and trusted self. And we are not meant to do it alone. Having guidance on your journey is essential. Come discover your natural intelligence and help heal and grow from grief and feel free to become the creative being you are.

The Power of
Creative Expression

I believe we can learn so much about ourselves through our creative process. Want to explore using art to expand your intuition and access your creative voice? Do you struggle with a harsh inner-critic that stops you from creating? Do you want to feel free to be curious, playful and compassionate in your own creative process? Art can be a practice in self-expression, self-compassion, accessing the truth, learning how to be courageous, and so much more. Come create and play with me.

“Art is important for it commemorates the seasons of the soul, or a special or tragic event in the soul’s journey. Art is not just for oneself, not just a marker of one’s own understanding. It is also a map for those who follow after us.”

— CLARISSA PINKOLA ESTES, PHD

Good Grief

Do you know that every time there is change in your life, there can be grief? Grief doesn’t have to be seen as an enemy or a thing we run away from. In grief, we can be cracked open and in the midst of the pain, you are more likely to also see the truth. In honoring and expressing our grief we are able to expand our capacity to live, love, and grow. So how do we grieve in a safe and creative way? Grief rituals create the sacred space to transmute and metamorphose our grief. Just like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, there is so much potential for magic when we learn how to grieve and allow for the natural cycles of change.

“To honor our grief, to grant space and time in our frantic world, is to fulfill a covenant with soul—to welcome all that is, thereby granting room for our authentic life.”

— FRANCIS WELLER
